Jackalope Brewing Co. is one of my favorite local breweries here in Nashville. Not only do I love the beer, but the illustrations are so unique! Each of their cans tells a legend behind the illustration. Inspired by this, I created Equinox Amber Ale, a fall seasonal beer. The idea was based on Autumnus, the Roman personification of the autumn equinox. She represents balance in relation to the balanced hours of daylight and darkness that the equinox brings. She also represents the harvest, abundance, thankfulness, wisdom, and internal reflection. With the equinox the daylight hours will begin to dwindle, but Autumnus brings bounty from the sowing season. Cheers!
